Welcome on board Comrade!
Privileged and proud to be a fellow traveller in your life journey (at least a little mile ahead until you find your direction at this moment you ought to travel).
Call it a passion or profession? Well! I prefer the former…
I am of great conviction that if at all you knew me, my profession wouldn’t make much sense to you…. A paraphrase of my story…
Grew up in a small coastal town in South India but eventually became a traveller post schooling: 15 years – 12 places ( resided at least a year); soon after schooling wished to be a catholic priest and prepared myself for about 12 + years learning spirituality to humanity… life tossed me up and down, right and left... plethora of experiences from people of various walks of life… evolution of thoughts, out of box thinking, intruding emotions, untiring physical strength and a calm soul… at last sailed through the rough sea reaching the coast with flying colours…
The shore had a different surprise altogether ( my life diary) with a fresh new beginning, left the idea of becoming a priest but collected the lessons life taught, flipped through the pages of my diary found great meaning in the journey. Set out on a new mission TO LIVE THE LIFE I WISH TO LIVE… What an experience comrade? Spellbound am I! The moral of the story is I failed TO EXPLORE THE UNEXPLORED AVENUES OF LIFE. Life is a journey, the beauty of it lies in the experience of journeying through than reaching the end, my journey continues…experiencing the JOY of LIVING!
Taking you to a few pages of my diary to let you know how life prepared me TO BECOME THE PERSON I MEANT TO BE…
Got graduated with a Bachelors in English Literature. Had a passion to learn this language… most stages witnessed my rendition through drama, oratory and hosting… explored this avenue of reaching the people through powerful communication, as a young performer kept the jam-packed auditoriums frozen in awe and admiration. Life provided me lots of opportunities to lead and groomed me into a charismatically evolved leader. It has been a rich learning of leadership especially as a young leader leaving footprints where served… thought communication and leadership with innovative and creative strategies will bring in the new dawn of my life… But… As always life opened up a new avenue…
Was stressed up at a particular span of my life wanted to go for a retreat to get eased and healed of. Walked into the premises of a counselling institute to get healed of but walked out of it as a wounded healer with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Well, I never chose this field but 3 powerful life changing statements made me: ‘You are a natural healer’, ‘You have an X factor to understand people beyond limits’, ‘You will change the lives of many’. Here you go, at this point of my life I am a Counsellor cum Psychotherapist. Pursued an MS in Counselling and Psychotherapy just to upgrade myself and to gain better theoretical knowledge though I am a person who is convinced of experiential knowledge. Continued as a Counsellor cum Psychotherapist reaching out many youngsters as it is my stronghold, couples, parents, sick, dying, religious, students and leaders. Eventually turned to be a trainer, speaker, facilitator and teacher. Loved the profession as met new people with new experiences. There was a great contentment when I retired to bed each day. Thought would settle down as a counsellor cum psychotherapist helping and healing many needy… life had another twist of course to reach me to the destination I ought to reach….
Self, planned to drop the idea of becoming a priest for a greater good and a friend of mine dropped this idea of me becoming a Life Coach, which would have an international accreditation. Landed back home from Australia with this uncertain idea, researched, discerned and decided to begin a new journey in reaching out people. Became an International Coaching Federation Accredited Certified Life Coach, Certified Executive Coach, Certified Organisational Development Coach and Neuro-linguistic Practitioner. Updated with the corporate world tactics and nuances. During my practise session I remember an acquaintance of mine saying ‘Antony, you bring humanity to the table while strategizing the business outcome, which is going to be your thrust to be a successful coach’. Well, I wish to be a seeker than achiever, the more I learn the better I feel successful, it is all about learning for me to be successful… Here you go, at this point of life an International Coach and a proud member of Certified Coaches Alliance, Canada. It didn’t stop there, life had another surprise…
I received a job offer from Hong Kong to be a trainer for which I thought I would do an extra study and ended in a PG Diploma in TEFL with specialisation in teaching the Young Learners, Business English Teaching, Education Management, Learning Disabilities and Training the Trainers. Eventually I cleared the TESOL Canada Board Exam out of interest and now a member of TESOL Canada and TESOL accredited teacher.
Now you might understand who I am and why I am here… nothing but just TO EMPOWER YOU and TO HELP YOU TO EXPLORE THE UNEXPLORED AVENUES OF LIFE!
